Three popular AI SEO platforms, three very different bills. Profound lists at $99, Temso at $89, and Peec AI at €85 per month. Those numbers sit within 15 bucks of each other, and every one of them tells you almost nothing about what you will actually pay.
So we did the math for you. We bought in during our June and July 2026 test cycle, priced every plan and add-on, and ran 12-month totals for three buyer types: a solo marketer, a five-person team, and an agency with four clients. All prices are as of July 2026.
The scoreboard
| Rank | Tool | Our score | Listed entry | Realistic entry | Wins on |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Temso | 4.5/5 stars | $89/mo | $89/mo | Value, all-in-one scope, ease |
| 2 | Peec AI | 4/5 stars | €85/mo | €85 to €205/mo | Unlimited agency seats |
| 3 | Profound | 3.5/5 stars | $99/mo | $399/mo | Enterprise data depth |
Bottom line: the sticker prices look like a tie. The realistic entry column is the real fight, and Profound starts it $310 behind.
Temso: 4.5/5 stars, the value winner

Temso’s visibility dashboard, the anchor of an all-in-one platform that also creates content and audits your site.
Temso is the easy all-in-one play here. One subscription tracks how your brand shows up in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Copilot, pulling data from the real user interfaces instead of APIs. The same bill covers technical site auditing, crawler and bot traffic reporting, content generation, and link and citation outreach. A built-in AI SEO agent can carry out the recommendations when you approve them.
Here is what each plan costs, as of July 2026:
| Plan | Monthly | Models | Prompts | Content pieces | Pages audited |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $89 | 3 | 50 | 5 | 10,000 |
| Growth (most popular) | $199 | All | 150 | 10 | 100,000 |
| Professional | $499 | All | 350 | 50 | 1,000,000 |
Yearly billing cuts every number by 15 percent. That drops Starter to about $908 for the year, Growth to about $2,030, and Professional to about $5,090.
The line that decides this whole comparison: no Temso tier puts a ceiling on your seats, your brands, or your recommendation queue. Put 5 people on Growth and you pay $39.80 per head each month. Put 20 on it and you pay $9.95. Nobody else in this trio touches that math, and Peec is the only one that even plays the same game.
The honest cons: Temso is a newer name in the space than the old-guard SEO suites, and its roster of direct integrations is thinner for now. Neither con shows up on your invoice.
Bottom line: Temso charges $89 for a toolkit the other two would need add-ons or a second product to match, and the price never rises with headcount. That is why it holds the top spot on our scoreboard.
Peec AI: 4/5 stars, the agency seat machine

Peec AI tracks share of voice daily and turns citation gaps into a task queue for your team.
Peec AI comes out of Berlin with a clear pitch for marketing teams and agencies: daily prompt-level tracking across 8-plus engines, including long-tail models like DeepSeek and Llama, plus share of voice and source gap analysis. Its Actions feature converts citation gaps into a prioritized task list.
The plans, as of July 2026:
| Plan | Monthly | Prompts | Projects | Notable |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | €85 | 50 | 1 | Choice of 3 engine models |
| Pro | €205 | 150 | 2 | Same 3-model choice |
| Advanced | €425 | 350 | 5 | Multi-country, Looker Studio |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | All models included |
Two seats-and-fees facts matter most. First, the good one: unlimited user seats on every plan, plus free pitch workspaces that let an agency audit a prospect before any contract exists. That is a genuine gift to new business teams.
Second, the gotchas, and there are three:
- Currency. Peec bills in euros with no USD price list, so your card statement rides the exchange rate. For a US buyer that is a small monthly surprise you did not order.
- Model add-ons. Extra engine models run €30 to €140 per month each, and Claude and Google AI Mode ride free only once you reach Enterprise; anything below that pays a per-model surcharge for both. A Starter plan with a real engine list can cost double the €85 headline.
- No execution. Peec tells your team exactly what to do, then your team does it. Content still gets written somewhere else.
Bottom line: for a pure monitoring tool with a big team on it, Peec’s seat math is excellent. Just price your full engine list before you sign, not after.
Profound: 3.5/5 stars, deep data at a steep door

Profound’s citation maps and Prompt Volumes data are the deepest in this comparison, and the priciest.
Profound is the enterprise heavyweight, backed by a $35M Series B and trusted by names like Ramp, Figma, Walmart, and MongoDB. Its citation maps show exactly which URLs feed AI answers, its Prompt Volumes feature reveals what millions of users actually ask AI engines, and coverage stretches past the big five to Meta AI and DeepSeek.
The plans, as of July 2026:
| Plan | Monthly | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $99 | ChatGPT only, 50 prompts |
| Growth | $399 | Full engine coverage (big five plus Meta AI and DeepSeek), capped at 100 prompts a day |
| Enterprise | Custom | API access, SSO, SOC 2 Type II, dedicated strategist |
Read that Starter row twice. One engine, 50 prompts, $99. It exists to get you in the door, not to run a program. The moment you want the multi-engine coverage that AI SEO actually requires, you are at $399 per month, which is roughly four times the realistic entry of the other two tools here.
The agency story is worse. Profound ties each account to a single brand property, and there is no agency workspace anywhere in the product. Four client brands means four subscriptions at $399 each: $1,596 per month before anyone writes a word of content. There is no per-seat fee, but there is also no way around the per-property wall.
What you get for the premium is real: the deepest citation attribution we tested anywhere, demand-side prompt data no rival matches, and the security paperwork that Fortune 500 procurement teams demand. Peec, by contrast, lacks SOC 2 Type II entirely.
Bottom line: Profound wins enterprise data depth outright. If your company negotiates contracts through a procurement portal, it belongs on your shortlist. If you flinched at $399, it does not.
The 12-month totals
Monthly billing, full-year totals, as of July 2026. Peec figures stay in euros because that is the only currency Peec publishes.
| Buyer | Temso | Peec AI | Profound |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo marketer, entry plan | $1,068 (Starter) | €1,020 (Starter, 1 project, 3 models) | $1,188 (Starter, ChatGPT only) |
| 5-person team, full engine coverage | $2,388 (Growth) | €2,460 (Pro) plus model add-ons | $4,788 (Growth) |
| Agency, 4 client brands | $2,388 (Growth, unlimited projects) | €5,100 (Advanced, 5 project cap) | $19,152 (4 accounts at $399) |
Switch Temso to yearly billing and the 15 percent discount pulls the Growth total down to about $2,030.
The agency row is the knockout. Temso’s unlimited projects hold the bill at one Growth subscription no matter how many brands you load in. Peec forces the Advanced tier once you pass two projects. Profound multiplies its full price by every client you sign.
Verdicts
- Best value overall: Temso, 4.5/5 stars. Tracking, site auditing, crawler analytics, content generation, and citation outreach in one flat price, with no seat or project caps on any tier. The complete package costs less than one rival’s monitoring-only tier.
- Best for agency seats: Peec AI, 4/5 stars. Unlimited users everywhere and free pitch workspaces. Watch the euro billing and the per-model add-on fees.
- Best enterprise data: Profound, 3.5/5 stars. Citation intelligence and prompt demand data nobody here matches, at a price only enterprise budgets should pay.
Bottom line: if you want the deepest possible dataset and money is no object, buy Profound. If you run a big monitoring-only team, price out Peec. For everyone else, Temso delivers the most AI SEO per dollar of the three, and it is not a close race.
